For being such a rainy month in Northern Utah, (which really makes it hard to stay dry during outdoor weddings), Jeff and Alysia couldn't have timed their ceremony better. The day before their wedding it was not only raining but very windy and cold. That changed on Saturday however, and not only did the weather hold for their ceremony in Bountiful at North Canyon Park, but the rain held off until just after the reception was over. Then the rain came pouring down. We got some great pictures of the happy couple around the park- they even "borrowed" some water guns for a great water fight! Congratulations- Wishing all the best!

Northern Utah sure has some beautiful scenery to use as a backdrop for wedding picures. Joe and Jen were married up MillCreek Canyon, and even though the weather was wet, the portraits turned out beautiful for these cute couple. I really wish them well in their new beginning.

Ashton and Michelle's Wedding

Ashton and Michelle picked 08-08-08 for their special day! They were married in the North Ogden Pleasant View area. We couldn't have had a better day! They had so many friends and family surrounding them and wishing them so much happiness. That's probably what I love most about shooting weddings. You get to capture so many pictures of a couple in love celebrating one of the happiest times of their life. It just doesn't get any better than this! Here's few of my favorites.

Sara and Carlos were married Nov. 24, 2007 at the Chantilly Mansion in Layton, Utah. The Chantilly Mansion is a very nice wedding and reception house that really caters to their brides. They just finished remodeling and have done a great job. Sara had great taste in planning all the details of their wedding. They are an awesome couple and I wish them all the best in their new life. This image was taken in the desert in Las Vegas. We had a seminar there with a bridal shoot. Before it started, the dust storm stared kicking up. I loved the way the bride looked with the storm in the background so I shot some pictures of it. This one was my favorite.

Just got back from the convention in Vegas for Wedding Photographers. The seminars were great! A few of us got together with some models and headed down the strip for some great shots. David Beckstead joined us and gave some great advice and pointers. There's a reason he's one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world!!
